All they have to do is whip out their PointDraw pen to work their magic!

BenQ claims that teachers and students will appreciate the new BenQ MP780 ST’s right out of box PointDraw system which employs an ultra-intuitive interface and unlike traditional interactive pen systems, the BenQ PointDraw technology does not require any calibration between the system and the projected surface/screen.

Offering instant plug-and-play setup, simply connect the BenQ MP780 ST to a notebook or desktop computer and users can right away point, draw, and create on any plain surface without requiring any separate whiteboard or screen.

The new BenQ MP780 ST and PointDraw system are compatible with any operating system that supports a standard USB mouse and enables easy big-screen display, integration, and sharing of virtually any software or digital content viewable on a computer monitor.

The PointDraw pen function in BenQ MP780 projector features a button that works the same as the “left” mouse button, and therefore will allow the user to perform the same functions as left mouse button offers.  In addition, the PointDraw pen system lets users doodle up to 8m away from the projected surface.

The BenQ MP780 ST projector also includes Q Draw Interactive Software that further expands functionality with various drawing options including different pen types, four ink colors, various line thicknesses, table and chart capability, shape selections, fun screen scenarios, and numerous helpful widgets. It even allows recording entire lessons that were drawn/written with the PointDraw pen.

BenQ MP780 ST allows users to create an interactive projection space ranging from 48-inch to a huge 300-inch diagonal, maximizing valuable classroom wall space.  With an ultra short 0.5:1 throw ratio (project a 95-inch image from just 1m) it is able to further accommodates even the smallest portable classrooms while minimizing shadow interference.
